Perth Museum & Art Gallery is home to more than half a million local, national and international objects. Our changing programme of exhibitions and events showcases the very best of our Recognised Collection of National Significance to Scotland.
Come along and explore Perth’s wild and wonderful natural landscape, see the record-breaking salmon caught by Miss Ballantine, and the unique gift from space that is the Strathmore meteorite. Perth became known throughout the world for whisky production, glass making and dyeing, and here you can discover more about the city’s rich industrial heritage – and see a sheep made entirely from glass! Our fine-art collection boasts over 900 oil paintings including old masters and an impressive body of Scottish works from the founding of the Scottish School to contemporary examples. We also have a fascinating collection of old photographs to inspire you to share stories and memories.
